If You Enjoy Jewlery…

And you’re tired of wearing the same dull set of pearls? Perhaps you could consider wandering down to Luke and Eloy’s gallery down on 5169 Butler Street in Lawrenceville to experience the niche world of art jewelry. By art jewelry, I don’t mean hanging a mini Monet from a chain (though, technically that is possible) but actually crafting a unique piece of jewelry that will have people asking you which ancient tomb you robbed.

To help craft your masterpiece, the owner, who is a certified goldsmith and specializes in art jewelry, offers custom crafting and custom jewelry services as well as beginner to advanced metalsmithing and jewelry design classes.

As well as art jewelry this gallery also plays host to artist on a rotating basis. As of this writing, there is an exhibition titled “Lost Spaces” populated with art by Artemis Herber. “Lost Spaces” features paintings that explore the vastness and all of the little empty spots that litter a city. Something us Pittsburghers can relate to? This ends November 1st but after that expires be ready to visit again for the “Laughingstock - Humor in Art & Craft” exhibition. That shows begins November 15th.
